Course of Judges
The Book of Judges is the seventh book of the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, following the Book of Joshua. It presents a complex and often troubling period in Israelite history, marked by cycles of faithfulness and disobedience, divine judgment and mercy, and the struggle for identity and cohesion among the tribes of Israel. The book is traditionally attributed to the prophet Samuel and is characterized by its narrative style, which includes both individual stories and overarching themes that explore the nature of leadership, community, and covenant relationship with God.
